Holistic Birthing Workshop

Let’s talk about Labor! This interactive and informative workshop is geared toward couples who are looking for the convenience of a more condensed childbirth class, or those who might like a ‘refresher’ in preparation for a second baby. We will explore a variety of topics around the upcoming adventure of labor and birth, including (but not necessarily limited to):

  • Choices in Childbirth / Birth Planning
  • Stages of Labor (and proactive tools for each)
  • Comfort Measures (including best birthing positions)
  • The powerful role of the partner
  • Evidence-based risk vs. benefit information on interventions
  • Trusting the wisdom of the body

Registration Info

A binder containing the information covered in class (including local resource referral) will be provided, as well as healthy snacks and water. Workshop size is limited, in order to accommodate participants’ individual wishes as to content areas to focus on.

Cost is $95 per couple for the workshop. This is also offered as a private and / or semi-private class on an as-requested basis, for $150 per couple. Non-traditional couples/parents, and single mamas warmly welcomed. For more information or to register, call (503.236.2458) or email Camille.
